What’s your fave vacation spot?

Young Sebi asked:

I love vacationing anywhere in the South Pacific. I love Hawaii, and prefer Maui over Oahu.

One of my favorite places is Big Cedar Lodge on Table Rock Lake in the Missouri Ozarks. It is beautiful and peaceful there.

I live on Oahu - and feel that you are selling yourself short by only traveling to Maui.

We have MUCH more local flavor here (away from Waikiki). Next time, try the Turtle Bay Resort, the Makaha Golf Resort or the JW Marriott at Koolina.

Not to mention the activities, the restaurants, the nightlife, the waves and it’s less expensive.

My favorite vacation spot is usually on a cruise ship.

Alaska…Everyone should see it. I live here and vacation here every year. Camping, fishing (the best in the world!), and motorcycling. It’s a big difference from Hawaii, you’ll too love it!

Jamaica. I went with my family when I was a kid. We didn’t stay at a hotel. A local family was renting out space. It was amazing to do it that way. We got the “back door” experience. Probably the best experience I’ve ever had on a vacation.

Amsterdam, The people are great and most people speak English. The drugs are fabulous and cheep and legal. It’s super clean and easy to get around. There aren’t that many cars in town so most people ride there bikes and walk which is perfect for a foreign traveler on a budget. The food is also the best in Europe, and you can get hash brownies. And there is lots to do like visit museums, take canal boat rides, smoke weed, ride your bike around tulip fields, watch the street performers which perform 10 hours of every day. I love it and wish to move there some day.
