I’m planning a destination wedding in Maui. what beach is the nicest?
#1RealtorĀ® asked:
I’m loving the Hyatt Regency at Kaanapali, Marriot Wailea Beach Resort, Four Seasons Maui at Wailea, and the Grand Wailea. I would like to take into consideration my guests and what surrounding dining and activities but ultimately something beautiful and not necessarily most expensive. Any help would be great! We’re planning for July 09. ALOHA!

i would pick kaanapali. the wedding pictures there are quite beautiful. the bride and groom in formal attire/gown and they draw a heart in the sand and it says Just Mauied … Quite Cute. There are lots of condos near by for guests to stay that are not that expensive. have a great time.

I like anything on the Wailea coast – not too windy!!!
Plus the Grand Wailea is so beautiful!
Congrats and what a great place to get married.

Hi Rose,
All of the beaches on Maui are beautiful. Each has its own unique quality. The Wailea area is more secluded and upscale. There are no large expanses of beach here, but luxury reigns supreme.
Kaanapali Beach is approximately 45 minutes from Wailea. Your guests will have more dining and activity options if you are closer to/on Kaanapali Beach. My personal favorite is the Sharaton Maui. The property is right on famed Kaanapali Beach. It has the black lava rock wall on the far side of the property that locals dive off of during the nightly torch lighting ceremony on resort. Very beautiful. Great snorkeling, magnificent grounds and pools. Staff works well with wedding groups. It is definately NOT a convention hotel, thus has more or a true Hawaiian feel. I plan many destination weddings. Please let me know if you need any assistance.
