Afternoon adventure in Maui?

My friend and I are traveling to Oahu in the next two months. We have a day trip planned to Maui. Our morning consists of the Piiholo Ranch with the zip lines and the tower. Is there anything else that should be a MUST SEE/DO before we fly back to Oahu for the rest of our vacation?

The Piiholo Ranch is is Makawao, in the north center of the island. So you probably wouldn’t want to drive an hour each way to see Lahaina side. If you have a car, you could drive up to the top of Haleakala volcano. It’s pretty close to Makawao and offers an experience that is unique to Maui. There are plenty of nice little restaurants in Makawao and nearby Paia to have lunch before you head up the mountain. For a bit longer adventure, you could drive the infamous Road to Hana, which would be about an hour to get there and 2 hours back to Kahului airport. Hana is a small traditional Hawaiian town with nice beaches, hiking and swimming spots.
