A more beautiful bedroom made easy
Your bedroom should be a refuge, an individual hideaway from the crazy pace of the world. It should truly reflect your sense of style and taste. Here are a few tips to remember when redecorating your bedroom.
Keep it simple
A bedroom should look and feel comfortable, cozy and tidy no matter what your personal is. That means keeping your furniture to the fundamentals of only what you need. And if you have got a smaller room, don’t try and put a king-sized be in there. You’ll be squeezing around things and that’ll get exhausting in short order. So keep the scale of your space in mind as you get your bedroom furnishings. Try to keep it to a straightforward plan like your bed, a reading chair, a couple of nice tables, your dressers, a couple floor lamps and that’s's about it. Try really losing the TV. I know..it’s impossible for a small number of you but listen, when I first attempted that with the cell telephone and portable I really was able to get a little rest. You really should try it.
Use calming colors if feasible.
Rather than crazy and bold primary colours, select more relaxing shades and simple tones unless you actually have your heart set on making a statement. Hey it’s your bedroom and if you can get to sleep with purple walls then who am I to argue..? If you’d like to stay in the same color range but would like to try and tone it down some, then why don’t you try something like a soft shade of lavender. You get the point.
Invest in luxury bed linens
If you can afford it at all, do yourself a massive favor and invest in 300 or higher thread count 100 pc sateen bed linen and a well made bed comforter You can get to sleep like you are in a fancy hotel in London, Berlin or Paris I am enlightening you. You will not be sorry about it. Watch out for sales online and take the plunge. You’ll love your new bedding no doubt.
Add different textures
You could also try adding another fascinating features thru your bedroom like silky or textured wall coverings. How about a interesting area rug..? Perhaps a silk table cloth..?
Have Lots of Storage
You might try one of those really cool troubled wooden trunks to cover your extra blankets, pillows and bedding and other stuff out of site. Don’t forget to have a good organization system in place in the closet so your garments and shoes are neat also.
Drapes and windows
A well thought out approach to your windows will help you not only create a serene, quiet and dark place to get to sleep but will also even help add another facet of beauty also. Don’t just stick anything up there, but fool around with color and texture here also, just as in the rest of your room. Remember that thicker draperies will help block out not only daylight but noise too.
Using some of these concepts will help you make a perfect bedroom space to relax, sleep, read and dream.
